Authorities who raided a center in Thailand arrested 24 Chinese citizens for conducting a Bitcoin-oriented fraud scheme.
According to reports in the Chinese media on the subject, the fraud had been active since March of this year.
24 people were arrested after the raid on the call center, an interesting detail also emerged. Accordingly, the call center staff was trying to persuade Chinese citizens to take part in this fraud scheme and stated that they would trade through the Huobi Global stock exchange.
With the operation, 61 laptops, 424 mobile phones and radios were also seized.
Thai police launched a new operation following this raid and embarked on a thorough investigation to capture Thai citizens involved in this fraud scheme.
